How to Get Your Affidavit Notarized
A step-by-step guide to making your affidavit legally valid in the United States.
What is Notarization?
Notarization is the process of having your affidavit witnessed and certified by a Notary Public. The notary verifies your identity, watches you sign the document, and applies their official stamp or seal, making your sworn statement legally valid.
You must sign the affidavit in the presence of the Notary Public - do not sign it beforehand!
